Billy Lee Paceley Sr., age 70, of Hobart IN, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020. He was born on November 22, 1949 in Evansville, In. Bill proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. Bill was a loving husband, father and Papas. He was a Steelworker for many years.He was known for his generosity and playful personality.  He was a faithful member and fill in Preacher of Lakeveiw Baptist Church for over 47 years.

Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 40 years, Ella Mae Paceley and daughter Angella Dee Paceley. He is survived by his son, Billy Paceley Jr. (Rebecca) and daughter Mellisa Barker (Kevin); grandchildren, Julissa Barker (Dangelo Anderson), Madison Paceley, Kaleb Paceley, Nathan Paceley, Levi Paceley, and Elle Paceley. Bill had many extended family and friends.

A funeral service for Bill will take place Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 12:00pm at Lakeview Baptist Church, 2123 Dombey Rd. Portage, IN officiated by Pastor  Ronnie Cox and message given by Billy Paceley Jr. He will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Portage with full military honors. Visitation will be held from 11am until the time of the time of service at the church. Arrangements were entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
