William "Bill" Roth, age 71, of Hobart passed away Monday November 19, 2018.  Bill was born May 24, 1947 in Gary, Indiana to the late Benjamin and Blanche (Keeney) Roth.  He was a Technical Writer for the Holland Company in Crete, Illinois.  Bill was a member of the Merrillville Lions Club, the Miller Historical Society and attended the Maria Reiner Senior Center regularly.  He was also a member of the Calumet College of St. Joseph Alumni Association.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Donna and daughter, Laura Roth both of Hobart.

He was preceded in death by various loving family members and his dear friends, Jim Tolliver and Terrill Newnan.

Bill requested to be cremated.  There will be a memorial service at a later date.
