Blanche P Hughes
age 78 of Goodland, Indiana passed away Monday November 22, 2010. She was born on April 4, 1932 in Chewtown, Pennsylvania to the late Robert and Blanche Park. She was a former longtime Portage resident.
She is survived by 4 sons, Robert Hughes of Lake Station, IN; Scott (Cynthia) Hughes of Portage, IN; Kevin (Laura) Hughes of Fort Riley, KS; Jack (Melissa) Hughes of Columbus, IN; 1 daughter, Stacey (Michael) Gorby of Brook, IN; 1 brother, Alan (Donna) Park of Monongahela, PA; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hughes, 2 sisters, Jeanne Croushore, and Ruth Applegate, and 2 brothers, Robert and William Park.
Visitation is Wednesday, November 24, 2010 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Ave., Portage. Funeral services are Friday, November 26, 2010 at 12 p.m. with additional visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, Portage with Rev. Sumit Sen officiating.
