"Bob" E. Muraco, age 75, of Lake Station passed away suddenly Friday August 8, 2014 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Bob was born April 6, 1939 in East Gary, Indiana to the late James and Helen (Idzior) Muraco. Bob was a carpenter that retired from Indiana Laminated with over 30 years of service. Bob loved golfing, gardening and collecting Antiques. He was a member of Carpenters Local Union #1005.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Gloria of Lake Station; one son Mike (Lisa) Muraco of Goldsboro, NC; two grandchildren Sean and Katelyn; two sisters Thelma Ondras of Portage and Dorothy (Jerry) Johnson of Lombard, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers Anthony Bobrowski, Mitchell Bobrowski, Lindy Bobrowski, Mike Muraco and Joe Muraco; and one sister Helen Huddleston.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Monday August 11, 2014 at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel 3781 Central Ave. Lake Station, IN 46405 with Deacon Chris McIntire officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
