Bobby Freeman Norman age 79, of Portage, IN, passed away on July 19, 2023, at his home. Bob was born on October 20, 1943, to the late Earl Freeman and Anna Louis (nee Lambert) Norman. After Bob graduated from High School, he was a Bud Plant retiree, where he worked as a supervisor. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post 777 of Indianapolis. Bob was an avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching the Cubs and the Bears. He enjoyed flowers, helping others and loved hanging out with his lifelong best friend, Bob. He will be remembered as a hard worker, a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He will be dearly missed.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Louis Norman father, Earl Freeman Norman.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Anna (Gary) Johnson, Victoria Shane and Ashley (Nathan) Sornson; grandchildren, Amber (Davy) Haron, Cory Shane, Megan (Cody) Davis, Paige (Tony) Beard, Gage (Michelle Muniz) Shane, Brook Shane and James Myers; great-grandchildren, Parker Haron, Harlie Haron, Jake Davis, Lexie Snow, Analynn Myers, Kelley Davis, Sophia Sornson, Carter Myers, Chloe Sornson, Aria Haron and Aiden Slavens; best friend and brother, Bob Vonderhaar and many other loving family members and friends.
