Bonita "Bonnie" J. Brunner, age 80, of Valparaiso passed away Tuesday October 18, 2022, in her home.  Bonita was born September 25, 1942, in Chicago, IL to the late Kenneth and Mildred (Olson) Erickson. Bonita was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, and wife. She enjoyed playing Bunco.

Bonita is survived by her loving son, Gerald (Lori) Brunner of Valparaiso; her two grandchildren, Tiffany (Matthew) Pullara and Michael Brunner; and many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband Edward.

Visitation will be Saturday October 29, 2022, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon with Rev. Richard Olson officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
