Bonnie Joan Fassoth (nee Richardson), age 87, of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020.  She was born on July 1, 1933 in Lexington, Nebraska to the late Vernon and Blanche Richardson. To say that Bonnie had a vibrant personality would be a gross understatement. She was a member of the VFW Post # 9323 Ladies Auxiliary in Lake Station and the Hobart Eagles. She loved gardening and caring for her flowers. She enjoyed antiques and going to flea markets. Bonnie had a wonderful sense of fashion and would not do any of the things she enjoyed without full makeup and a perfect manicure. Bonnie was a hardworking woman who loved her fur babies.

She is survived by her longtime companion, Hector Garza; sons, Mike Racek, Scott (Monica) Snider; daughters, Sally (Ronnie) Marquardt, Linda Robackowski, Terry (Scott) Tomasek; daughter-in-law, Holly (Richie) Piazza; grandchildren, Victoria (Garrett) Hill, Rebecca (Tyler) Linner, Jeremy Mckain, Anthony Robackowski, Neale Robackowski and Luke Fassoth; great grandchildren, Tucker and Brylee Linner, Levi Silkwood; many loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin "Sweet Marty" Fassoth; daughter, Patty Pederson; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Donald Cammack.

A Celebration of Bonnie's life will take place at a later date.
