Bonnie J. Frailey, age 83 of Westville passed away Monday, April 27, 2015. She was born on March 18, 1932 to Charles and Arizona Pearl (nee Hicks) Leonard in Fawkles, Tennessee. She was a retired secretary for U. S. Steel and for the Indiana State Police Department. She was a past member of the Women's Moose Lodge in Chesterton. She will be remembered as a caregiver to her family and a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her son; David (Debbie) Frailey of Hixson, Tennessee; daughter, Deborah (Robert) Ogden of Westville; four grandchildren, Kim Ogden, Cassandra (Alex) Fabian, Jessie Frailey, and Derek Frailey; great-grandson, Alexander James "AJ" Fabian; sister, Dorothy "Dottie" Ludwig of Arizona, numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Frailey and her parents, two brothers, Leland Leonard and Waymon Gene Leonard; three sisters, Lockie Clark, Hazel Schultz, and Thelma Robison .
Funeral services are Friday, May 1, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Pastor Bob Burton officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn.
