Obituary
BONNIE MAE WENZEL, age 84, of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016. She was born on April 7, 1931 in Gary, Indiana to the late Joseph and Naomi Sisson. Bonnie retired from Anderson Co. in 1996 after 37 years of employment. She was affiliated with the Women of the Moose Lodge #1507 and Lodge #249.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Jack L. (Jan) Wenzel of Westville and Thomas G. Wenzel of Hobart; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild; 2 sisters, Shirley Gunning of Michigan City, and Carol (Pinkie) Teske of Portage.
Bonnie was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Wenzel; and brother, James Sisson.
A visitation will be Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, (219) 942-2109 or go online at www.reesfuneralhomes.com to extend condolences.
