Bradley "Brad" E. Lightfoot, age 30, of Chesterton, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021.  He was born on February 20, 1991 in Merrillville, IN. He married his wife, Katey Gentry on June 8,2020, in Chesterton, Indiana. He worked as a Diesel Mechanic with KLLM Transportation.  He will be remembered for his heart of gold, contagious laugh, and his beautiful smile. Brad enjoyed working on cars, video games and was an avid bears fan. He will be remembered as a loving husband, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He is survived by his wife, Katey Lightfoot; mother, Karla (Craig) Lindstrom; brother, William E. Lightfoot II; two sisters, Erika Johnson and Cheryl Lightfoot; mother-in-law, Lisa Gentry; father-in-law, Brian (Tammy) Gentry grandmother, Karen Choucalas; uncle, Charles Choucalas; Aunts, Deanna (Randy) Robinson and Angela Choucalas; cousins, Kristopher, Ashton and Zach Robinson, Kurtis (Alison), Leah and Bryce Robinson, Karlee (Cody) Troy and Lyla Maldonado, Theodore "Teddy" Choucalas and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Don (Lawanda) Lightfoot, grandpa, Charles Choucalas great-grandma, Carmel Pavey and cousin, Tyler Choucalas.
