Brandon Michael Hatch

Brandon Michael Hatch, a ge 36, of Portage passed away Wednesday, March 31,2021. He was born on December 19,1984 at the Community Hospital in Munster to Terry Simmons and Michael Hatch. Brandon's whole world was his son. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and the Chicago Bears. He will be remembered as a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend.

Brandon is survived by his son, Braxton Hatch; mother, Terry Simmons; father, Michael Hatch; sister, Nicola Simmons; two brothers, Josh Simmons, and Mike Hatch Jr.; five nieces, Angelica Fitzgerald, Chanelle Hammond, Brianna Simmons, Lexis Spires, and Casey Simmons; four nephews, Charles Spires, Nicolas Reedus, Zion Reedus, and Izac Simmons; five uncles, Tom, Dick, John, Leo, and Jim Hatch; significant other, Margaret Killmer; many more extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Janet Fifield and paternal grandparents, Leo and Dorothy Hatch.

Funeral service will be 7 pm Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, IN 46368 with Pastor Vertis Johnson Farmer officiating. Visitation will also be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 2p.m. until time of service.

Due to on going COVID-19 restrictions no more than 50 people may be in attendance at any one time.  All attendees must wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
