Brenda C. Harmon

Brenda C. Harmon, age 74 a longtime Lake Station resident passed away, Wednesday, June 19, 2019.  She was born on February 7, 1945 to the late Louis Earl and Clarice Virginia Barnhart.  She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Portage.  Brenda loved flowers and worked for Kellen's Florist for 10 years and then later opened Brenda's Flower shop in Lake Station in 1999 and remained open until 2017.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Leroy Harmon of Lake Station. IN; three sons, Michael (Kim) Harmon of Lake Station, IN; Brian (Katrina) Harmon of Lake Station, IN; Chris Harmon of Lake Station, IN; one sister, Jan C. (late Daniel Benjamin) Fielding of Hobart, IN; seven grandchildren, Josh, Matt, , Kailey, Kiersten, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Nick, nieces and nephews, Dixie Page of St. Louis, MO; Shelby Jones of St. Louis, MO; Donald Harmon of Rolla, MO; Timmy Muhlbaier, Terry Reynolds, Cindy Komenda, and many great nieces and great-nephews.

Graveside services are Monday, June 24, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery, Portage with Rev. Ronnie Cox officiating.  Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel completed arrangements, (219) 962-1606.
