Brenda K. Oleska (nee Rogers), age 66, of Lake Station, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020. She was born on February 27, 1954 in Gary, Indiana to the late Howard and Viola Rogers. Brenda enjoyed playing BUNCO and BINGO. She loved to dance and she liked to tell stories. She was a dedicated mother who worked very hard to care for her children. She will always be remembered for her giving nature.

She is survived by her daughters, Amanda (John) Franklin, Almeda (Bob) Urycki, Angela (Kenny) Wright; grandchildren, Bobby, Allison, Sydney, Angelee, Dalton, Dallas, Rachell, Morgan and Johnathon; great grandchildren, Channing, Brooklyn, Zaiden; and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Oleska in 2001; and brothers, Phillip, Jerry, Dickie and Steve Rogers. Memorial contributions in Brenda's name may be made to the National Autism Association at donate.nationalautismassociation.org.
