Brenda F. Wojkovich, age 65 of Hobart passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at VNA Hospice in Valparaiso. She was born on March 8, 1949 in Daus, Tennessee to the late J.M and Gladys (nee Kilgore) Johnson. Brenda was a longtime member of the Sonrise Baptist Church in Gary. Brenda was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.She is survived by her loving husband of 49 yrs., Andrew Wojkovich Jr. of Hobart; two daughters, Dawn Ranta of Chesterton, Pam (James) Haburjak of Portage; four grandchildren, Bailey Ranta, Nichole Draia, Tyler and Michael Haburjak; two brothers, Jupe (Robin) and Ricky Johnson; four sisters, Shelby (Russell) Tarkany, Patsy Roderick, Sharon Brown and Linda Pearman; sister in law, Bonnie (Rick) Bishop, numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.She was preceded in death by parents and three siblings, Bill and Ted Johnson and Beverly Gay Johnson.In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Brenda's honor may be made to the Wojkovich family or to VNA Hospice of Valparasio.Funeral services are Monday, March 31, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Pastor Clemon Chappell officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville.
