Brian Keith Deutscher, age 60 of Hobart passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022.  He was born on June 21, 1961 in Gary, Indiana to the late Daniel E. and Lois J Deutscher.  Brian was a former longtime New Chicago resident and had worked as a carpenter.  He served his country in the U.S. Navy.  Brian enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by two brothers, Daniel Lee (Deborah) Deutscher of Kouts, IN; Roger Allen (Betty) Deutscher of Lake Station, IN; two sisters, Sara Kehoe of Kouts, IN; Jeanie Harman of Westville, IN; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Debra Deutscher, Karen Burge, and Cindy Jones.
