BRIAN F. GALVIN, age 66, of Hobart, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018. He was born on December 14, 1951 to the late Francis J. Galvin, Jr. and Anna M. Galvin. Brian was a 1969 graduate of River Forest High School and then served as a Medical Corpsman in the U.S. Army Reserves. In his early career, he worked as a salesman in several different industries. He later worked many years in loan collection and managed mortgage escrow accounts for the financial industry. He finished his career with the Indiana Toll Road and retired due to health issues. Brian was also the past president of the Lake Station Jaycees from 1975-1976.

Brian is survived by his son, Sean E. Galvin of Montrose, PA; grandson, Parker M. Galvin of Somerset, PA; step grandchildren, Kirsten, Makayla and Bryce Hetzer of PA; one sister, Colleen (late David) Leverenz of Elk Grove Village, IL; four brothers, Frank (Alice) Galvin of Hobart, IN, John Galvin of Allen, TX, Tom Galvin and Mike Galvin of Lake Wales, FL; many nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation for Brian will be Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 2:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
