BRIAN W. KURINA, SR., age 59, of Hobart, formerly of Chicago, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015. He was born on October 29, 1956 in Chicago. Brian married the love of his life, Rita (nee Quesenberry) on March 13, 1982. He was a good man who will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Rita; son, Brian W. (Kathryn) Kurina, Jr. of GA; daughter, Marilyn (William Hernandez) Kurina of Hobart; mother, Geri Vandenbrink; 5 grandchildren, Alyssa Kurina, Alexis and Joshua Garza, Kylie Kurina, Destiny Hernandez; great granddaughter, Areli Kurina; like a son, Joseph (Cristina) Vargas; 3 brothers, Joseph (Sarah) Kurina of Chicago, Michael (Juanita) Kurina of Hobart, Larry Kurina of IL; 2 sisters, Sandra May and Patricia (Frank Catuera) Katalinch of WI.

Brian was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jack Vandenbrink; and 2 brothers, Steven and Timothy Kurina.
