Obituary
Carl E. Loman, age 70, of Lake Station passed away Monday March 10, 2014 at Methodist Hospital Gary. Carl was born May 27, 1943 in Louisville, KY to the late Herbert and Bettie (Abel) Loman. Carl was a veteran of the US Army Reserves. He was a retiree of US Steel. Carl was a member of New Albany American Legion and Hobart Eagles.
Carl is survived by a step son and daughter Bobby Lockhart and Heather Lockhart and several nieces and nephews including Roger and Martha Best.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 13 siblings.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Thursday March 13, 2014 at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel 3781 Central Avenue Lake Station, IN. Cremation will follow. Visitation is Wednesday from 4-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations are preferred to Carl's family.
