CARLETON D. KEEVER, age 82, of Portage, passed away on May 21, 2015. He was born in Gary on June 12, 1932 to the late Orlando and Lena Keever. Carl served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Inland Steel as a recorder after many years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Keever; step children, Cheryl (David) Hoke of Trevor, WI and Dennis W. Ramsay of Portage; granddaughter, Lisa (Jeffrey) Frazier; 4 great granddaughters, Meghan and Emily Frazier and Kelly and Sarah Hoke; several nieces and nephews.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers; 6 sisters and grandson, Jeff Hoke.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to the American Diabetes Association.

Visitation for Carl will be Thursday, May 28, 2105 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage with Pastor Ken Miller officiating.
