Age 68, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Saint Mary Medical surrounded by his loving family. Born June 20, 1942 the son of Carlos and Virginia Luna. A graduate of Froebel High School and a retired bricklayer of Mittal- Inland Steel. Carlos enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.
Carlos Luna is survived by his, wife; Lupe Luna of Lake Station, son; Carlos Luna III of Lake Station daughter; Linda (David) Guzman of Lake Station, daughter-in-law Lupe "Pinky" Luna of Lake Station, grandchildren; David "DJ"(Lupe) Guzman, Daniel Guzman, Christina Guzman, Rachel Luna and Carlos Luna IV, sisters; Carmen (Michael) Pappas of Lowell, Angela (Refugio) Diaz of Gary and Minerva Luna of Lake Station and many other loving family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Carlos and Virginia Luna and dear friend Leonard Sacco.
A funeral service for Carlos will be held Monday, November 15,2010 at 11am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage.Friends may visit with the family on, Sunday November 14,2010 from 2:00-900p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel. Donations to Autism awareness would be appreciated.
