Carlota Uribe, age 83, of Hobart, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 23, 1935 in La Moncada, Mexico to the late Esteban Uribe and Teresa Moncada. On April 6, 1953, in La Moncada, Mexico, she married Jose S. Rosillo, who preceded her in death in 2015. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church. She was affectionately known for her small business endeavors of selling traditional Mexican foods at festivals. Her greatest joy in life was taking care of her beloved family, and she will always be remembered for her dedication to them.

Carlota is survived by her children, Noemi R. Canelo, Carolina (Jose Antonio) Rojas, Maria Cruz (Audelio) Arteaga, Eulalia Carreon, Dr. Laura (Thomas) Rosillo, Jose Rosillo, Jr., Alejandro Rosillo, Sandra (Edgar) Lule and Gabriela (Marco) Soriano; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Marta, Placi, Esteban Jr., Carmela, Cristobal, Magdalena, Medardo, Manuel, Puri, Jesus; and many other loving nieces, nephews and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose S. Rosillo; great grandson, Daniel A. Lopez; son-in-law, Miguel Canelo; brothers, Roberto and Antonio; and 5 infant siblings.

Memorial contributions in Carlota's name may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 50 East 91 ^st Street Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46209.

Visitation for Carlota will be held Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel, 10909 Randolph Street, Crown Point/ Winfield, IN 46307. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, January 21, 2019 at 10:00 am at Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church, 2949 Willowcreek Rd., Portage.
