Carmella Monchilovich

Age 84, of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, June 8,2021 peacefully in her sleep. She was born on July 25, 1936, to the late Carmen and Rose (nee Rose) Vespo in Gary, Indiana. Carmella retired from Beal's Construction where she worked as a administrative assistant. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her two sons; John (Jennifer) Monchilovich of Valparaiso, Carmen Monchilovich of Hobart; grandchildren, Sarah Parker, Joe Parker, Carmen "CJ" Monchilovich, Mike (Christine) Grutsch, Jamie (Josh) Wahlster and Hallie Rose Monchilovich; numerous great grandchildren; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Carmella was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday June 12, 2021, at the Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel 3781 Central Avenue Lake Station, Indiana 46405.  Visitation will also be held Saturday, June 12,2021 from 11:00 am until time of service.
