Carol Ann Anderson

Carol A. Anderson (nee Bellar), age 56, of Hobart, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018. She was born on April 16, 1962 in Gary, Indiana to the late Earl and Ruth Bellar. Carol will always be remembered for her vibrant personality. In her free time, she loved going to the beach and bowling. She enjoyed Coca Cola and adored her dog, Rascal. Above all, she dedicated her life to her family and cherished the time she spent with them.

On January 16, 1990, she married the love of her life, David Anderson, who survives. She is also survived by her daughters, Wendi (Mike) York, Abby Anderson, Katie Anderson; grandchildren, Jacob and Logan York; her sisters, also known as the Bellar sisters , Donna Coldirne, Peggy Hurst, Nancy Norman, Pam (Jim) Fedyna; brother, Wayne (Pat) Bellar; mother-in-law, Phyllis Anderson; best friends, Felicia Rodriguez and Brenda Hoefflicker; many loving nieces, nephews and other family members.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ruth Bellar; her son, David Anderson; sister, Penny Sansone; father-in-law, Dennis Anderson; and two nephews, Jason Norman and Kaden Sudlow.

A funeral service for Carol will take place Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Portage. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
