Carol Lucille Givins Hursell, age 87 of Big Sandy, Tennessee formerly of Hobart, Indiana passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012. She was born on March 16, 1925 in MCHenry, Kentucky to the late Carl and Bulah Chappell Hursell.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Dorothy (Gary) Carter of Big Sandy, TN; Wanda Hursell of Hobart, IN; 2 sisters, Mary Louise Scott of Beaver Dam, KY; Bessie Singledon; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several step-brothers and step-sisters.

She was preceded in death by hwe parents, Carl and Bulah Chappell Hursell, 1 daughter, Anna Catherine Moore, 2 sisters, and 1 brother and several step-brothers and step-sisters.

Funeral services are Wednesday April 4, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Richard Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hobart.
