Carol Lee Hamilton

Carol Lee Hamilton, age 77, of Valparaiso, Indiana, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026, at Saint Mary Medical Center. She was born on December 5, 1948, in Gary, Indiana.

Carol was a proud graduate of Lew Wallace High School, Class of 1967. She dedicated many years as a bookkeeper at her late husband’s business, Jim’s Auto, where she was known for her diligence and care.

Carol had a vibrant personality and a wide range of interests. She loved doing her nails and even created a special space in her home that resembled her own personal nail salon. She was an avid television viewer, especially fond of historical and drama series, and had a special love for superhero movies. Carol was a frequent attendee of Comic-Con events and shared a special bond with her daughter through their mutual love of Arrow. She also cherished the time spent camping with her beloved husband, Jim, taking every opportunity they could to enjoy the outdoors together.

She is survived by her loving children, Ginger Mikulich, Guy Mikulich, and stepson John Grant Mikulich; her brother, Robert (Sandra) Anderson, with whom she shared a birthday; and her precious fur baby, Zoey.

Carol was preceded in death by her devoted husband, James Hamilton; her father, Selva Hiawatha Anderson; and her mother, Eileen A. (nee Havens) Anderson.

Carol will be remembered for her warmth, her unique spirit, and the love she shared with her family and friends.
