Carol A. Needham

Carol A. Needham, age 84, of Hobart, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at St. Mary Medical Center. Carol was born on December 23, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late James Zeller and Virginia (nee Daghy) Zeller. She married the love of her life, Jerry Needham, on April 15, 1961. He preceded her in death in September 1995. 

Carol was a retired Library Assistant for River Forest Community School Corporation. She had a gentle and caring spirit and will be remembered for the simple things that brought her joy. She loved animals, spending time with a good book, and watching movies. These were among the many things that made her happiest and reflected her warm and loving nature.Carol will be lovingly remembered by; sister, Lori Conrad; four grandchildren, Samantha, Mark A. Jr., Codi, and Apryl; three great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry; her son, Mark A. Needham her parents, James and Virginia Zeller and brother, David Zeller.
