Carole Ann Sypien

Carole Ann Sypien, age 74 of Hobart passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 at home. She was born on September 6, 1947 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Robert Elden and Ethel Rae Yoder. Carole was a faithful Jehovah's Witness.  She loved to sew and bake wedding cakes. Carole was very close to her father and she especially enjoyed the time she spent gardening with him.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Doug) Brown; brother, David Dean (Teresa) Yoder; grandchildren, Brooklyn Richelle Brown, Savannah Raelynn Brown; Isaiah, Nathan, Tysen, Deanna and Kallie Sypien; great grandson, John Roger Sypien; and former husband, David Edward Sypien.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ethel Yoder; son, Edward Jason Sypien; brother, Robert E. Yoder, Jr.; and sister, Linda Susan Yoder.
