Carter Mitol

CARTER MITOL, age 66, of Portage, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022.  He was born in Gary, Indiana on October 21, 1955 to the late Stanley and Mary Ann Mitol.  He worked retired from US Steel and then went on to work as a truck driver.  Carter enjoyed working on cars and loved being with his family.  He was the kindest, most loving man who would give you his last dollar.

He is survived by his 2 children, Carter Lee Mitol and Melissa Melissa Raffaelli; brothers, Bryant (the late Michal) Mitol, Michael Mitol, and Joseph (Kathi) Mitol; sister, Teresa Mitol; several nieces and nephews.

Carter was preceded in death by his sisters, Honora (Dave) Lucas and Sandra Bull.

Cremation entrusted to Rees Funeral Homes, Hobart Chapel.
