Catherine M. Meakisz

Catherine M. Meakisz, age 74, of Griffith passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023. She was born on August 20, 1949, in Parker, Pennsylvania to the late Thomas and Florence Bester. She loved her family and dedicated her life to taking care of them. She always kept herself busy, whether she was making blankets, repairing holes in clothing, decorating cakes for weddings, or arranging flowers. Catherine will always be remembered for the unconditional love she showed everyone.

She is survived by her daughters, Theresa (Jason) Cagle, Lisa (John) Logan, Kimberly (Jeff) King; son, Kirk (Natali) Villasenor; beloved grandchildren, Samantha, Jesse, Jase, Jacob, Hailey, Anthony, Alexis, Caleb, Trenton, Jonathan, Emily, Zeke, and baby Brooklynn on the way; sister, Patricia Riley; and best friend, Violet (Jim) Rutherford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Florence Bester; and her brother, Thomas Bester.
