CATHERINE JANE O'NEILL, age 63, of Hobart, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Catherine was a retired Respiratory Care Practitioner from St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart with 20 years of service and a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church. Cathy was an avid gardener and loved crafting. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anita G. O'Neill, father, Bernard A. O'Neill and brother, Calvert B. O'Neill.
Cathy is survived by her loving family and friends: Jeanne (Frank) Fernandez, Ginny (Mike) Lence, sisters: Theresa O'Neill of New York, Bernadette (Jason) O'Neill-Newman of Missouri and Peggy (James) Law of New Jersey, aunt, Eileen McQuillin of Florida, step-mother, Rita C. O'Neill of New Jersey and numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 16, 2011 at 10 am at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Rev. Dominic V. Bertino officiating.
