Cecil "Woody" J. Woods

Cecil J. "Woody" Woods, age 88, lifelong Hobart resident, passed away Monday, December 2, 2019. He was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on January 29, 1931 to the late Stephen J and Lillie M. (nee Canant) Woods.  Cecil worked as a general line supervisor at Nipsco and was a member of the American Legion Post 430 in Merrillville. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

Cecil is survived by his wife of 37 yrs., Patricia Woods; four children, Tammy Woods, Tracy DeLuca (Ed), Mathew Nepsa (Satina) and Dorie (Mark) Clickovich; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous brothers and sisters and granddaughter, Stevie O'Kelly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cecil's honor to a Charity of your choice.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 2 pm at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd. Hobart, IN 46342.
