Chad B.K, Stratton,

Age 46, of Hobart, Indiana, passed away on December 14, 2025. Chad was a hardworking and talented mechanic at NLMK, where he was known for his skill, dedication, and strong work ethic. Outside of work, he was an avid antique hunter and collector of many things, always finding value and stories in old treasures. A true handyman often called "Mr. Fix It" Chad could repair just about anything and was always willing to help others.

He loved riding his motorcycle and enjoyed the freedom of the open road. Chad was especially cherished by his nieces and nephews, who affectionately knew him as "Uncle Trash," a nickname that reflected his sense of humor and the special bond he shared with them.

Chad will be remembered for his mechanical talents, generous spirit, and the unique mark he left on everyone who knew him.

Chad is survived by his daughter, Lily (Michael Nedved) Stratton; son, Skyler Lagneau; father, Donald Stratton; sister, Briggs (Justin) Morlan; niece, Jenna (Declan) Lawrence; great nephew, Noah Lawrence; two great nieces, Gwen and Phoebe Lawrence.

Chad was preceded in death by his mother, Jenny Black.
