Charlene Taylor

Charlene Taylor (nee Ingram) age 81, of Portage passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017. She was born on July 2, 1936 in Gary, Indiana to the late Charles and Helen (nee Koritko) Ingram. On July 3, 1954 Charlene married Larry K. Taylor who preceded her in death. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Charlene is survived by her three sons, Kenneth (Cassie) Taylor, Gregory (Marla) Taylor and Mark (Robin) Taylor; five grandchildren, Michele, Krista, Jacob, Zachary and Cameron;  eight great-grandchildren, Domanic, Daelon, Madelyn, Makaela, Jaxson, Owen, Landon and Jada; two brothers, Charles and Richard Ingram and other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents and sister, Jackie Guidino.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, December 4, 2017 at 10:00 am  directly at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 356 W. Seven Mile Road, Valparaiso, IN 46385, with Father Paul Quanz officiating, with additional visitation from 9:00-10:00 am . Burial of cremains will be at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Portage.
