Charles D. Adams

Charles D. Adams, age 74 of Valparaiso, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023, at home. He was born on December 27, 1948, in Gary, Indiana. Charles was a skilled mechanic and owned and operated Family Auto Service. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post #502 in South Haven. He enjoyed being outdoors, he liked fishing, camping and tending to his vegetable garden.

He is survived by his sons, Scott (Jeanine Ryan) Adams, Steven Adams; daughter, Karen (Thomas) Raub; grandchildren, Charlie, Alex, Anthony, Autumn, Makayla, Britney, Kylee, Angela, Brandon, Brianna; and several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife in 2022, Pamela Rose Adams; his mother, Angeline Schweder; and his brother, Edward Adams.
