CHARLES M. GRIFFIN, age 63, of Hobart, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015. He was born on December 14, 1951 in Gary. Chuck was a longtime Hobart resident and a veteran of the US Air Force.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy; 3 daughters, Susan (John) Collmar, Shelly Satterfield, and Casey Ramos; 12 grandchildren, Gabriel, Savannah, Jerrica, Emma, Grace, Jordan, Hayley, Nathan, Zachary, Jacob, Makayla, and Makenzy; 4 brothers, Madison, Jim, Billy and Jim ; many special in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, C.L. and Minnie Griffin; son-in-law, Vinnie Satterfield; and brother, Johnny Rogers.


A memorial visitation for Chuck will be Monday, October 5, 2015 from 2:00 until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., with Rev.
