CHARLES H. MARLOW, age 61, of Hobart, passed away July 21, 2017 at St. Mary Medical Center. He was born in Hammond on December 31, 1955 to the late Marvin Dewey and Monnie Marlow. Charles was raised in Alabama and graduated from Attala High School. He was formerly employed at Westmont and Caine Steel. Charles proudly served his country in the Navy. He enjoyed coaching Hobart Little League and was an avid Hobart Brickie Fan. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Margaret (nee Smith); 2 sons, Charles and Kevin Marlow; 6 grandchildren, Shyanne, Aiden and Mason Marlow, Chase Wescott and Richard & Travis Marlow; brother, Walter (Dottie) Marlow; 2 sisters, Jeanette (Alfred) Hancock and Gloria (Norman) Zeiter; nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Memorial services for Charles will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Portage Bible Baptist Church, 6659 US Hwy. 6, Portage, 46368. Cremation services were entrusted to Rees Funeral Homes, Hobart Chapel, (219) 942-2109.
