Charles T. Neidow
Charles T. Neidow, age 84, of Valparaiso and formerly of Portage passed away Tuesday June 6, 2017 Community Howard Health Center in Kokomo. "Tom" was born October 22, 1932 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Clarence and Dorothy (Miller) Neidow. He worked for his father's funeral home in Hammond and then in many local cemeteries. Tom was an US Army veteran.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte; his stepdaughter, Candis (Rodney) Walczak of Hobart; his grandchildren, Kyle (Jennifer) Walczak and Megan (Lawrence) O'Rourke; his brother, John (Mary Jo) Neidow of Michigan; his sister Mary Jo Puls of Wisconsin; and his nieces Gretchen Schultz and Gabby Puls, nephews Mark, J. J. Neidow and Eric Puls.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial visitation will be held from10:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday June 17, 2017 at the Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, IN 46342. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Charles R. Strietelmeier officiating.
