Charles "Randy" Sanders

Charles "Randy" Sanders, age 60, of Portage and formerly of Tennessee, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017. He was born on March 19, 1956 in Friendship, TN to the late William Robert and Mable (Nee Latham) Sanders. Randy retired from US Steel where he worked as a gas tender in the coke plant. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Randy is survived by his son, Charles I Sanders; two daughters, Shannon (Zoran) Despotoski and Melissa (Igor) Trpkoski; eight grandchildren, Michela, Alexa, Nikola, Brionna, Zander, Annalise, Lila and Stephan; brother, Robert Sanders; three sisters, Dee Miller, Charlotte Betty Trott and Debbie Harris; many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Richard and Mike Sanders and sister, Jo Ann Weedin.

A memorial service for Randy will take at place 7 pm Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341, Central Ave., Portage, IN.
