Charles W. Adams

Charles "Chuck" Wayne Adams, age 65, of Portage, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017. He was born in Madisonville, Kentucky on November 6, 1951 to the late John Paul and Athea Faye (nee Johnson) Adams. He was a proud member of the United States Army. Chuck was also a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Portage. Chuck will be remembered as a kind, loving, and giving person.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife, of 40 years, Janet Adams (nee Davis); daughter, Erica (Skip Tomasko) Adams; granddaughter, Kylie; brothers, Paul (Susan) Adams, Karl (Chris) Adams, James (Radka) Adams; sisters, Sharron (Floyd) Heimes, Nancie (Andy) Smith; brother in law, Bobby (Melinda) Davis; sister in law, Vickie Davis; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Chuck will take place Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Bible Baptist Church, 6659 U.S. Hwy 6, Portage, IN 46368 with Pastor Don Good officiating. He will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, Portage. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W Old Ridge Rd. Hobart, IN 46342 from 2-8 pm.
