Charlotte Imogene (nee Warren) Buckley, age 93, of Hobart, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015. She was born on August 19, 1921 in Wayne County, Iowa to Earl and Colas Hellyer. She attended country school until high school and graduated from Seymour High School in 1939. In 1946, she married Billy D. Warren. To this union, they had five children. In 1979, she married Joe Buckley.
Charlotte enjoyed people and had many friends. She doted on her children and grandchildren. Charlotte was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Order of the Eastern Star #314. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, visiting and having company. Charlotte had a long, happy life and enjoyed being helpful to others.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Billy D. Warren; second husband, Joseph Buckley; son, Dale Warren; granddaughter, Melissa McKee.
Cherishing her memory are her 4 children, Alan (Charlene) Warren, Scott (Marilyn) Warren, Denise (Phillip) McKee, Barry (Wilma Vazquez) Warren; 9 grandchildren, Shelly (Dave) Brown, Joe (Erin) Warren, Angela Warren, Billy Warren, Ryan Warren, Mathew (Danielle) McKee, Andrew Warren, Daniel Warren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Lyle Hellyer; sister, Darlene Gotheridge.
A funeral service for Charlotte will take place Monday, May 18, 2015 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
