CHARLOTTE FAY, age 87, a past Hobart resident, passed away on August 6, 2014 in Englewood, FL. She was born in Chicago on February 18, 1927 to Samuel and Ida Hillman. Charlotte retired from the Gary office of Lake County Clerk where she worked for 28 years. She was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church and La Societe de Femme. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Charlotte is survived by 1 son, Terry (Janice) Fay of Hobart; 2 daughters Nancy (Michael) Cary of FL, and Kathy (Glen) Wright of Hobart; 3 grandchildren, Lisa Morton, Carla Bounds, and Marcy Hinds; and 7 great grandchildren; brother, Alan (Deloris) Hillman of FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Thomas Fay and her parents.

A funeral for Charlotte will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., with Rev. Dominic V. Bertino officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery.
