Charlotte Elizabeth Weiler

Charlotte Elizabeth Weiler, age 88, a longtime resident of Crown Point passed away on Friday, September 9, 2011. She was born on July 27, 1923 in East Chicago, Indiana, the daughter of David and Marjorie Farster. Charlotte was married to Eugene Boesel in 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1951. Charlotte was then married to Ray Weiler on September 1, 1956 and he preceded her in death on October 27, 2008. Charlotte was a member of First United Methodist Church of Crown Point, the Methodist Women's Circle, the Order of the Eastern Star, the council of Job's Daughters Bethel # 44, the Winfield Federated Women's Club, and the Indiana Grange. Charlotte was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to all.
Charlotte is survived by her loving family, daughters Nancy (James) Lytle, Crown Point, Margie (Keith) Nay, Chesterton, and Mary Jo Dykhuis, Crown Point, son Don (Jan) Boesel, Temple, Texas, grandchildren Amber, Ashley, Christine, David, Sean, Travis, Chet, Kjari, Jeremy, Kara, and Sara, eleven great-grandchildren, and other loving family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eugene Boesel, husband Ray Weiler, brother Paul Farster, and brother Dean Farster.
A memorial visitation for Charlotte Weiler will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, October 14, 2011 at Rees Funeral Home – Winfield Chapel, 10909 Randolph Street, Winfield, with an Eastern Star and Job's Daughters Service at 7:00 pm. Burial is at Salem Cemetery in Hebron. Memorials in Charlotte's memory may be made to the Job's Daughters Bethel 44.
