Cheryl A. Bradford, age 79, of Lake Station passed away Tuesday January 27, 2026, at the William J. Riley Residence in Munster, Indiana. Cheryl was born June 2, 1946, in Gary, Indiana to the late George and Marion Hall. She was a lunch lady at Polk Elementary School in Lake Station. She also worked as a secretary at US Steel Gary Works prior to her marriage. Cheryl was a former member of the Lake Station Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Her true passion was being a grandma.

Cheryl is survived by her two children, James (Cheryle) Bradford, II of Lake Station, and Donna (Guy) Atchison of Fishers; four grandchildren, Connor Bradford, Andrew Atchison, Ben (Sadie) Atchison, and Scott Atchison; her three siblings, Ray, Nancy, and Susie; and several nieces and nephews.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, James W. Bradford; and a brother, George Hall.

Cheryl wished to be cremated. Cheryl’s family will have Private Services at a future date.
