Cheryl Gwynn Gadberry, age 63, of Hobart passed away Saturday August 30, 2014 following a courageous battle with Cancer. Cheryl was a loving wife, mother and "Nana". Cheryl was born January 3, 1951 to Elvis and Doris (Theis) Midkiff in Gary, Indiana.

Cheryl is survived by her four children Jamie (Zac) Swelfer of Hobart, Amie (Jon Stolarz) Gadberry of Michigan, Robert (Jessica) Gadberry of Hobart and Carrie (Chris DeMarco) Gadberry of Chesterton; eleven grandchildren Angelina, Katelyn and Caroline Swelfer; Olivia, Skylar and Lily Stolarz; and Autumn, Kaylee, Gage, Hayden and Brooke DeMarco; her mother Doris Midkiff of Lowell; three brothers Dale (Kathy) Midkiff of Lowell, Ralph (Jeanne) Midkiff of Hebron and Todd (Cheryl) Midkiff of Chesterton; two sisters Diane (Lynn) Martin of Springfield, IL and Dorraine Pearson of Aurora, IL; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her loving husband Bob Gadberry, her father Elvis Midkiff, and two brothers Elvis Lee Midkiff and Lyle Midkiff.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday September 4, 2014 at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road with Rev. Lynn Martin officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
