Cheryl L King

Cheryl L. King, age 75, of Hobart passed away Saturday January 14, 2023, at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. She was born June 20, 1947, in Gary, Indiana to the late Ewart and Ann (Koenig) Kersey. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and wife. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Edmaiston of Hobart; her four sons, Mike (Sue) King of Crown Point, Steven (Donna) King of Lowell, Jeffrey (Kimberly) King of Gilbert, AZ, and Randy (Randiann) Edmaiston of North Liberty; eight grandchildren, Shannette, Nicole, Shawnda, Danielle, Larissa, MacKenzie, Codi, and Zachary; seven great grandchildren, Freyah, Emma, Everett, Ella, Nicholas, Scarlett, and Orson; and many other dear friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Fred King; a brother, Ronald Kersey; and a sister, Shirley Elsner.

Visitation for Cheryl will be Thursday January 19, 2023, from 2-6 pm at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342. Funeral services will follow immediately at 6 pm at the Funeral Home.

In Lieu of Flowers memorial donations are preferred to the St. Jude Children Research Hospital.
