Cheryl Ann Klakoski "Nani", age 60, of Portage passed away Wednesday December 30, 2015 at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Cheryl was born May 16, 1955 in Gary, Indiana to Donald J. and Donna (Koritko) Lines, Sr.. She was a retired massage therapist, loving mother and wife. She attended the 1st Unitarian Church of Hobart. Cheryl was a member of the Northwest Indiana Pagan Association, GMC Motorhome Club, she was active in the Portage Wrestling Club and was a Certified Pairing Official.

Cheryl is survived by her loving husband of 41 years Dean Klakoski, Sr. of Portage; her mother Donna Lines of Syracuse; two sons Dean (Lisa Sarbiewski) Klakoski, Jr. of Valparaiso and Dane (Ashley) Klakoski of Portage; two granddaughters Ella and Harper; her siblings Donna J. (Dale) Klakoski of Keewatin, MN and Donald J. (Kimber) Lines, Jr. of Indianapolis; many nieces, nephews, loving in-laws and two canine companions Fyona and Patchewlee.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her father and her daughter Elise.

Visitation will be conducted at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, Indiana 46368 on Saturday January 9, 2016 from 2-8 pm. A memorial gathering will be celebrated at American Legion Post #260 at 5675 Mulberry Avenue, Portage, Indiana on Sunday January 10, 2016 beginning at 2 pm.
