Chris Georgieff Iii

Chris Georgieff III, age 34, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017. He was born on June 29, 1982 in Valparaiso, Indiana to Colleen and Chris Georgieff, Jr. He was currently employed as a Millwright through the Millwright Union Local #1076. In his free-time Chris enjoyed watching movies, especially Sci Fi films. He will always be remembered for his outgoing, friendly nature.

Chris is survived by his fiancée, Melissa Johnston; aunts, Alanna (Dave Balasa) Kennedy of St. Paul, MN, Regina (Scott) Reese of Olmsted, OH; uncle, Craig (Barb) Kennedy of St. Pauls, NC; many other loving cousins, family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Colleen and Chris Georgieff, Jr.

A memorial service for Chris will take place Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
