Christine Marie Allison, age 45, of Portage passed away Wednesday August 17, 2016 at the Porter Regional Hospital in Valparaiso. Chrissy was born July 30, 1971 in Hammond, Indiana to Boyd and Barbara (Satkoski) Hanna. Christine was a homemaker, loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and wife. She was a member of St. Francis-Xavier Catholic Church in Lake Station.

Christine is survived by her husband, Joseph Allison of Portage; her four children, Krystle, Anthony, Nikolas and Jakob Allison, all of Portage; her father, Boyd Hanna of Portage; her mother, Barbara Lewis of Lake Station; her brother, Robert (Lois) Hanna of Portage; her two sisters, Cheryl (Dave) Coates and Doreen (Dan Buikema) Hanna both of Portage; her Uncle Larry (Ilene) Satkoski of Florida; many other friends and extended family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin Monday August 22, 2016 with 10:45 am Prayers at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, Indiana and process to St. Francis-Xavier Catholic Church 2447 Putnam St. Lake Station, IN 46405 at 11:30 am with Rev. Roque Mezar celebrating. Burial will follow at Heritage Cemetery in Portage. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial gifts are preferred to the Riley Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
