CHRISTINE M. NAVAS, age 57, of Lake Station passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at home. Christine had been a Lake Station resident for 25 years and was a member of Lake Station VFW #9323 and American Legion Post #100 Ladies Auxiliaries. She was an active member of the Marquette Yacht Club.
Christine is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Nelson Navas, daughter, Gina (Dwayne) Neiswinger and son, Tony Navas, all of Lake Station, 8 grandchildren: Ashley, Brittany, Maverick, Nicko, Robert, Tony, Jr., William and Anthony, 1 great granddaughter, Evie, brothers: Danny Marts of South Bend, Jimmy (Trish) Marts, Mickey Marts, sisters: Charlotte (Earl), Liz (George) Ortiz, all of Chicago, Illinois and numerous nieces & nephews.
