Christopher Lee Rueben Joseph Kludt, age 37, of Pompano Beach, Florida and formerly of Portage, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016. He was born on July 26, 1978 in Valparaiso, Indiana to Larry and JoAnn Kludt. He enjoyed all sports and was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs. In his free time, Chris enjoyed billiards, golf and fishing. He was a dedicated member of Calvary Chapel Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He had fond memories of a recent mission trip he took to Liberia to help start a church there. Above all, he loved kids and cherished his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his mother, JoAnn Kludt; father, Larry Kludt; brother, Terry Kludt; sisters, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Davies and Carrie Anne Kludt; nieces and nephews, Jamie Carter, Brandon Carter, Zacharee Davies, Devin Kludt, Chance Kludt, and Vaughn Kludt; great nieces, Cammie Carter, Selena Davies, and Peyton Carter on the way.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rueben and Evelyn Kludt; and maternal grandparents, Joseph and Louise Strinchak. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Chris' name are preferred to the family.

A funeral service for Chris will take place Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage with Pastor Tony Davis officiating.
